This workshop includes camping, hiking, and survival essentials. How to use a compass and other ways to find the right directions. What to do if lost. How to identify poisonous plants and the ones you can eat or drink. How to build a fire that you know will stay lit.
This is a hands-on workshop and very interactive.
Limited to 30 adults and kids. There is no charge for children under 5 yrs. old. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes. Bring drier lint and gloves. Bring a meal to cook over the campfire. Smores will be provided.

From I-85 North or South near Newnan, take Exit 47 Highway 34 (Bullsboro Boulevard). Go west 0.8 miles. Turn right onto Highway 34 Bypass (M. Farmer Industrial Road) at 4-way stop and go 8.2 miles. Turn right onto Thomas Powers Road and go 2.7 miles to a 4-way stop. The road name changes to Hewlett South Road. Continue straight 0.9 miles. Continue straight onto Bud Davis Road and go 1.9 miles. Turn right onto Flat Rock Road. The road name changes to Bobwhite Way. Continue straight to gated entrance of the park.
