Join Park Staff as we cover the basics of outdoor safety and knowledge and learn skills that could get you out of a pinch one day. Challenge yourself with friends and family!
Knowing the basics of wilderness survival and outdoor safety is the first step in being prepared and avoiding an emergency situation. In this program, we will be covering topics such as fire, water, shelter, and navigation followed by activities and exercises that apply to those topics. Bring your friends and family for a day of full of challenges, teamwork, and learning that anyone can be ready and prepared for anything! Enjoy some celebratory s'mores and a bonfire with us once the day is over!
-weather appropriate clothing and close-toed shoes are required
-Bottled Water and First Aid will be provided
