General Coffee State Park will be hosting the Flatwoods Fishing Derby. All participants must pre-register at the main office before the event. Registration opens 4/14/25 closes 4/18/25 at 4 PM. Children under the age of 16 are free to enter, all other participants must pay $5 for entry. Fishing is limited to the farm pond ONLY.
Bream busters, cane poles, and spinners are permitted with your choice of bait. No nets may be used. All fish within legal limits may be kept, with the exception of grass carp. There will be two classes for the tournament; youth and adult.
Prizes will be given away for overall largest and smallest fish caught in both categories!
All participants 16 and older must have a valid Georgia fishing license to enter. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
