Jewels of the Marsh: Diamondback Terrapins

The diamondback terrapin is the only turtle that lives specifically in brackish water. It is a keystone species in the saltmarsh ecosystem. Come join us for a closer look at this jewel of the marsh. Meet in the Interpretive Center for a 30-minute program and see our two live diamondback terrapins.
