Join us for a hike along the Sweet Gum Trail where we will explore various tree species that inhabit the park. Learn about the characteristics of each and discuss their role in the environment. Additionally, we will address some endangered species in Georgia and events that led to their decline.
Please make sure to register at the Visitor Center before participating in the program. We will try to Start on time, so please arrive 5-10 minutes before the program. Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather and wear proper hiking shoes. This event may be canceled due to inclement weather.
