We plan to explore the importance of archaeology and the protection of historical resources. The day camp will involve team building and exploration of different techniques professional archaeologists practice. Open to ages 10-16 years old, and those with an interest in archaeology. Registration required! Cost: $50 per camper.

9:00am Introductions & rules.
9:25am Tour of the grounds and basic history.
10:00am Native American pottery-making
11:00am Historic archery with long-bows
Noon Lunch Break.
12:30pm Building survey of the Blockhouse (mapping, drawing, and photography)
1:30pm Excavation practice & artifact handling
2:30pm Museum and exhibits 101: create your own exhibit!
3:30pm Conclusion and pick-up.
