This easy 2.5 mile guided hike showcases one of our most imperiled ecosystems. Grasslands have globally been declining at a rapid rate. These grasslands are essential for a healthy and functional ecosystem providing services for wildlife, erosion control, and nutrient cycling. See the difference our native grasses can make!

Call 770-732-2613 to register or come in person to the visitor center. This hike will lead off from the flag pole in front of the visitor center
