Join our Naturalist on an easy 1 mile wilderness hike to the Trail Head 1 Creek to look for and identify Salamanders.
Bring water shoes as we will be getting in the creek and bring a towel to dry off legs.
Creek height : Ankle to shin deep on adults
* We will not be getting in the knee deep areas due to safety concerns

From I-85 North or South near Newnan, take Exit 47 Highway 34 (Bullsboro Boulevard). Go west 0.8 miles. Turn right onto Highway 34 Bypass (M. Farmer Industrial Road) at 4-way stop and go 8.2 miles. Turn right onto Thomas Powers Road and go 2.7 miles to a 4-way stop. The road name changes to Hewlett South Road. Continue straight 0.9 miles. Continue straight onto Bud Davis Road and go 1.9 miles. Turn right onto Flat Rock Road. The road name changes to Bobwhite Way. Continue straight to gated entrance of the park.
