Walking for Wildlife: Let's Take a Hike!

Friday, Jun 13, 2025 (9 AM to 10:30 AM)

Wake up and get outdoors with us as we explore the amazing nature that surrounds the Fort. Discover plants and animals that are native to the Georgia saltmarsh. This hike will be no more than a mile long, and is perfect for leisurely strolling.

Georgia’s State Wildlife Action Plan is a statewide strategy to conserve native wildlife species and the natural habitats they need before these animals, plants and places are lost forever. During 2025, join our rangers for programs focused on species of concern and ways you can help statewide conservation efforts.
Admission: $4.75-$8.25
