Join us for harvest time at the Prather cabin to learn the basics of gardening as they would have been performed in the 1860's. Rangers will lead tours of the cabin and garden. There will be harvest demonstrations, as well as cooking of the produce. Each group of visitors will receive one heirloom onion set to begin their own garden.

Located Take I-20 exit #44. Turn onto Thornton Road. (Highway 278) Follow Highway 278 West for 10 miles. Make a right onto Highway 92. Travel North on Highway 92 for approximately 6 miles. Look for brown Pickett's Mill signs as you continue. Turn left onto Due West Road. Continue 2 miles. Turn right onto Mount Tabor Church Road. Travel half a mile and the site on the right.
