Basket weaving is a rich historical art that has deep cultural roots. Many different cultures across the world have perfected the arts of basket weaving with a variety of different natural materials. Join a ranger while they demonstrate the basics of making a basket out of pine needles in front of the Park Office.
This demonstration is held outside. Anyone wishing participate should plan to wear insect repellant, sunscreen, and bring water.
