In celebration of the Georgia State Parks Art Contest. We want you to take part in sharing the beauty of our state park! This contest is open to Georgia residents in 9th – 12th grade during the 2025-2026 school year. Earn a chance to have your art displayed at the Georgia State Capitol.
This program will get you started with learning the essential tools and setup for watercolor painting, basic brushwork and blending techniques, simple composition and color mixing tips, and how to create skies, trees, and textures found in Georgia’s parks. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required by calling the park office. Limited to 10 people. Ages 13 - Adult.
