Night sky conditions are just right for viewing the Geminids Meteor Shower at its peak this year- we may see up to 120 meteors in an hour!
Bring a blanket or comfortable chair for looking skywards and remember to dress warm!
Call the park office between 8-5 on the day-of to make sure this is still happening. If there are cloudy skies or rain, meteors won't be visible.
Meet at the Day Use playground parking lot at 9:50 pm. We will then caravan together to the viewing area.
We want to limit the use of artificial white light in order to maximize visibility and have clear night vision so please bring a red headlamp if you have one.

Located 3 miles south of Comer off Highway 22.
Covered bridge has 9-foot maximum clearance. Equestrian campers need to use the park entrance off Highway 72 in Carlton, while traditional campers may use the park entrance off Highway 22 in Comer.
