Join us on the Lakeside Trail for a hike at Red Top Mountain State Park as we welcome the New Year! These hikes will be for all of our tracked chair users. Pre-registration is required.
Persons with limited mobility can register for the hike by emailing Alex.Werner@dnr.ga.gov and receive further information on getting certified to use track chairs through All-Terrain Georgia at allterraingeorgia.org We will have 6 available for folks to come and hike with for free.
Our meeting point will be in front of the Visitor Center, where we will head to the trailhead together. This hike is designed to be accessible for everyone. For those interested, Action Track chairs will be available after completing the certification course through allterraingeorgia.org. Join us in celebrating the New Year! The first hike will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and the second from 3:30 PM-4:30 PM.
