Join us at the historic Suwannee River Sill to learn about the swamp’s most famous residents: alligators! These large, long-lived survivors from a prehistoric world are far more fascinating—and important—than they first appear.
This will be a nearly 1 mile walk along the Suwannee River Sill. Please call and register before the program to reserve a spot on this walk. We will meet at the first parking lot of the Suwannee River Sill near the entrance of the Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge. Bring bug spray, wear closed toe shoes. Dress for the weather. Bring binoculars to better view our alligators and wildlife.
