Join us for an adventure at the Wild Turkey Trail Creek to hunt for rocks and minerals. We will use pocket guides for identification, and you can also view some of the park's specimen samples for reference.
Please wear water shoes and bring a towel and an extra set of clothes, as we will be wading in the creek. Please note that there is no gold panning allowed.

From I-85 North or South near Newnan, take Exit 47 Highway 34 (Bullsboro Boulevard). Go west 0.8 miles. Turn right onto Highway 34 Bypass (M. Farmer Industrial Road) at 4-way stop and go 8.2 miles. Turn right onto Thomas Powers Road and go 2.7 miles to a 4-way stop. The road name changes to Hewlett South Road. Continue straight 0.9 miles. Continue straight onto Bud Davis Road and go 1.9 miles. Turn right onto Flat Rock Road. The road name changes to Bobwhite Way. Continue straight to gated entrance of the park.
