Fire is a powerful tool that has many important applications in forest management. Prescribed fires have a history going back thousands of years. Join a ranger on a 1.5 mile hike to learn about the importance of prescribed fires, and how they help prevent wildfires. Ages 6+

Pre-registration required. Attendees should wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, insect repellant, and bring water. Trail rated easy to moderate.

Pre-registration closes 30 minutes before program start.
