Mushrooms come in many shapes and colors, with summertime being great for viewing certain varieties. On this ranger-led hike, you will have the chance to learn all about them, including their historical uses and how to appreciate these beautiful parts of nature safely.
This hike will begin on the red trail, then connect onto the purple trail, and conclude with the red, white, and blue trail. Closed-toe shoes and water are recommended.

Located Take I-20 exit #44. Turn onto Thornton Road. (Highway 278) Follow Highway 278 West for 10 miles. Make a right onto Highway 92. Travel North on Highway 92 for approximately 6 miles. Look for brown Pickett's Mill signs as you continue. Turn left onto Due West Road. Continue 2 miles. Turn right onto Mount Tabor Church Road. Travel half a mile and the site on the right.
