Bushcraft Basics: Rolling Blow Darts

The Okefenokee Swamp not only is home to numerous game animals and the natural resources used to hunt and capture these creatures. There is human history in this swamp spanning back over 4000 years. Join a ranger and learn how to craft effective projectiles out of the plants found here today.

This craft requires patience and good ability to work with hands. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
Please call or register at least an hour before the program.
We will be working with thistles, participants should understand they will get poked by the thorns. The ranger leading the program will have tweezers and a first aid box on hand.
Wear closed toed shoes to this program.
Limit 8 people per program
