Celebrate our nation’s birthday with a Watermelon Eating Contest at Red Top Mountain State Park! Join us by the Casting Shed behind the Visitor Center for juicy slices, fun prizes for everyone, and special winner’s ribbons for the top three watermelon contestants. Bring your family, friends, and appetite for this sweet summer tradition!
This event is free; however, pre-registration is required.
The contest will consist of three age-based rounds:
Ages 6–12
Ages 13–16
Ages 17 and up
