A casual hike focusing on dendrology for beginners. This Ranger-led interactive hike will cover the basic special identifying features of the leaves & barks of our most prolific native & non-native species. We'll start & end at the campgrounds boat ramp (directions below), about ~2 mi. total. Pre-register at the Visitor Center prior to start time.
From the park entrance, facing the Visitor Center: take a left onto Yargo Rd. ~1/2mi., turn right onto Yargo Camp Rd. & follow ~2.2mi. to its terminus at the boat ramp.
