Homeschool: Piedmont Explorers

Explore a unique feature of the Piedmont - the rock outcrop! Through a Mohs Hardness Scale lab and short nature walk to a rocky outcropping, participants will learn the differences between rocks and minerals, the rock cycle, and plants and animals unique to rock outcrops. This program is aimed for grades 4-6. Pre-registration required.
