In support of the 2026 GA State Parks art contest, we will be hosting an acrylic painting program with our historic cabin and the autumn colors as our inspiration. All materials will be provided.
This program will include a one-mile round-trip hike on easy terrain along our yellow trail. Closed-toe shoes are recommended.

Located Take I-20 exit #44. Turn onto Thornton Road. (Highway 278) Follow Highway 278 West for 10 miles. Make a right onto Highway 92. Travel North on Highway 92 for approximately 6 miles. Look for brown Pickett's Mill signs as you continue. Turn left onto Due West Road. Continue 2 miles. Turn right onto Mount Tabor Church Road. Travel half a mile and the site on the right.
