Join us for the first time, or join us again, as we trek through forests rich with history and shrouded in nature on New Year's Day. This year, we feature Author and Historian Brad Butchovich leading one of three groups on a battlefield stories hike, with rangers leading additional hikes. Arrive early to enjoy a free cup of hot chocolate.

Located Take I-20 exit #44. Turn onto Thornton Road. (Highway 278) Follow Highway 278 West for 10 miles. Make a right onto Highway 92. Travel North on Highway 92 for approximately 6 miles. Look for brown Pickett's Mill signs as you continue. Turn left onto Due West Road. Continue 2 miles. Turn right onto Mount Tabor Church Road. Travel half a mile and the site on the right.
