Status: Archived
Enjoy an egg hunt by moonlight. Some eggs will have treats and others will have prizes. There will be a special prize for the participant who finds the Golden Egg. You must call to pre-register and reserve your child’s spot no later than March 29. Registration begins on Thursday, February 1 at 9 am. Click for more details.

There will be two egg hunts on the night of Friday, March 30, 2018. Sign up your child for the appropriate age hunt. Hunt #1 is from 7:30 to 8:15 pm for ages 4-7. For Hunt #1, black-lights will NOT be provided for participants. Hunt #2 is from 8:30 to 9:15 pm for ages 8-12. For Hunt #2, black-lights will be provided for participants as it will be dark during this hunt. For each hunt, please bring your own basket. We will have lawn games for families to enjoy before the hunts. After the hunt, enjoy a s’more once you return your emptied plastic eggs to be reused for next year.

Dress your child up in their favorite glow-in-the-dark clothing, jewelry, or accessories to make the night fun and colorful. This will also make your child more visible and safe in the dark. This program is intended to be fun for kids! Parents should only enter the field for an emergency, and only the children can handle the eggs. Adults not allowed into the older kid hunt unless special needs help is required.

Meet at Picnic Shelter 2 and arrive at least 15 minutes before your hunt time to sign a waiver. Wear weather appropriate clothing since this program is outdoors. Heavy rain will reschedule the event. Limited space is available for this program. Registration begins on February 1 at 9 pm. You must call 770-975-0055 Monday – Thursday 9 am to 5 pm to pre-register and pre-pay. Final day to call and pre-register is March 29 before 5 p.m.
