Status: Archived Joining over 100 museums, art galleries and educational centers around Georgia, New Echota welcomes visitors for a free admission afternoon of tours and hikes. Tour the historic grounds, buildings and nature trails and learn about the Cherokee and the Trail of Tears in the 1830's. Historic grounds, buildings and trails open from 9:00-5:00.
