Learn about one of the most simple and effective historic tools used taking down small game: The blowgun! Blowguns were often the first weapon given children to teach basic hunting skills! Celebrate the last day of 2025 with a torch-lit sunset tour of the historic city of Etowah. On Wednesday, December 31st, the Mounds will be open until 9:00 pm, with a guided tour up Mound A starting at 6:30 pm to view the sunset. Walk with a ranger, view the stars, or try some piping hot corn fritters along other traditional southern recipes $2-$6. 770-387-3747.
