This is a fun time for kids aged 7-11 to join our Ranger in exploring activities in our Parks Junior Ranger book. This one day camp will be from 9 am - 2 pm. where we will hike, fish, explore wildlife, history of the park & museum, etc. $25 per kid. Call 478-763-2759 to register them. Enjoy a ranger led hike (1 hour) along our new beach trail as we walk by swamps, hardwood/pine forests and a controlled burn area. After the hike, we'll kayak (1 hour) on the lake looking for wildlife such as raptors, herons and migrating birds. Wear closed toe shoes, bring water, bug repellent and sunscreen.
