This Ranger - Led hike will take visitors along the lake banks and gentle ridges. Start the New Year off right with this 2 mile, moderate to rigorous, scenic hike (11am and 2pm). Bring a camera to record the scenery. Hikes geared toward active adults and children over 8 years old. Limited to 30. Meet Rangers at the park office for an easy, moderate , or strenuous hike to start your new year with. The easy hike will be a 1.2 mile hike along the Storybook Trail. The moderate hike will take you up to the Marble Mine and is 1.5 miles. The strenuous hike will be approximately 4 miles around the Jenkins Gap Trail. All hikes leave at 10:00 am. $5 parking. 706-857-0826.

This first day hike is for our families who visit the parks, we'll be on the off-road stroller accessible section of the white trial. We'll be hiking an easy 2 miles round trip. Enjoy the scenic views on this hike even our smallest hikers will love. And of course your 4 legged family members are welcome too.
