This will be a guided, ranger-led hike on a 1/4 mile shallow section of Pickett's Mill Creek. We will hike, do a macroinvertebrate round-up, and pick up trash along the way. Our goal will be to determine the health of the creek, discover a living ecosystem, and leave it cleaner for the future. Free admission for participants with preregistration. 770-443-7850.

Any Girl Scout group can attend this event. Preregistration is required. This event will span 2 days with morning and afternoon time slots available with a limit of two groups per time slot. We begin with a soldier writing home about his experiences, then visit special scenes along the trail where his experiences are brought to life. Preregistration is required.
