Homeschool Day, Three Sisters Gardening

Join Rangers for a lesson in companion gardening via the Cherokee Three Sisters plants. We'll talk about pollination, food preservation, native vs invasive plants and the work of Moravian Missionary Anna Rosina Gambold and her work with plants in the Cherokee Nation. Call to pre-register.

This program is best suited for children 6 and up. Historic Site passes will not be accepted for this event, which will be canceled for rain and rescheduled the following Thursday. Call to pre-register, plan on arriving by 9:15am the day of the event. Admission will include a tour of the Vann House after the program, optional.
