Endangered Species Day

Saturday, May 18, 2024 (10 AM to 12 PM)

Learn about the endangered species in and around our area and how to protect them. Afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to craft your own endangered flower to take home, engineer a flying squirrel paper airplane, and make a delicious Bald Eagle cupcake. Register in advance over the phone.

Meet outside the Mellinger Center. Stick around for Dr. Chris Jenkins, CEO of the Orianne Society, who will be hosting a talk about some amazing reptiles followed by a chance to meet-and-greet the animals.
