How did colonists start fires without manual lighters? This beginner lesson covers basic fire-building with an iron steel striker and flint. Offered inside the scenic Fort parade grounds! Space is limited and registration is required. Cost is $20 per person. Materials are included.
Our crafting classes are back! Each special class is led by an experienced Park Ranger and includes a take home kit. Lessons will be advertised as beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Due to nature of class (handling sharps and fire), all minors must be over age 12 and accompanied by an adult.
