This easy, 2 mile hike, with mild terrain changes is an excellent choice for the nature enthusiasts, beginner hiker, or just anyone looking to hike with good company. This hike is a sampling of what the park has to offer from geology, to botany, to wildlife and even history. This hike is appropriate for all ages.
Call 770 732 5871 to preregister or register day of in person at our visitor center 15 minutes prior to the hike's start time. please be sure to wear close toed shoes, dress appropriately for the weather and bring water.

Take I-20 west from Atlanta, exit #44 at Thornton Road, turn left and go ¼ mile. Turn right on Blairs Bridge Road. After 2 miles, turn left on Mount Vernon Road and proceed to the park.
