This year marks 160 years since the end of the American Civil War. While men folk were off to the war, women, children, and the elderly were fighting their own back home. Join us as our interpretive staff along with other living historians tell the stories of life on the home front in the Wiregrass region of Georgia at the close of the war. Join us for a unique exposition of antique and contemporary quilts and coverlets from around South Georgia! Pieces will be on temporary display for a limited time, and awards will be given for best in show, oldest piece, and rattiest in show! The show will take place in the group shelter across from the archery range. Public admission is $2 for adults, children 12 and under are free. $5 parking. 912-384-7082.

Join us for our 46th anniversary of the Pioneer Harvest Festival as we celebrate the culture and history of the Wiregrass region of South Georgia.
