Join our Naturalist for roasted marshmallows atop Kolomoki's Platform Mound under the rising 'Cold Moon' after the sun sets.
Hike is about 3/4 miles. Flashlights and closed toe shoes are advised. Camp chairs and/or blankets are optional.

Visit Santa, Frosty, and the Grinch while viewing numerous light displays around the park. Drink some hot chocolate or roast marshmallows over an open fire. Games and crafts are available as well. Donations are accepted for Friends of Kolomoki $5 parking. 229-724-2150.

Earn the limited First Day Hike 2026 sticker by meeting us at the Temple Mound Parking Lot New Years Eve at 11:30pm and join us for a hike up the largest Platform Mound in the southeastern US.
