First Day Hike - Midnight on the Mound

Earn the limited First Day Hike 2026 sticker by meeting us at the Temple Mound Parking Lot New Years Eve at 11:30pm and join us for a hike up the largest Platform Mound in the southeastern US. Moonlight at midnight is sure to make this a Monumental Moment, as we wrap up the annual theme for 2026. Monumental Moments: America’s 250th.

Closed toe shoes, water bottles, proper attire and flashlights are advised for this .75 mile hike to the top of Mound A.
