Following Hurricane Helene we surveyed the park and there was much damage, with the help of contractors and heavy equipment we’ve knocked out the big stuff and now we can tackle the rest. General Coffee State Park will be hosting the Flatwoods Fishing Derby. All participants must pre-register at the main office before the event. Registration opens 4/14/25 closes 4/18/25 at 4 PM. Children under the age of 16 are free to enter, all other participants must pay $5 for entry.
