This will be a guided, ranger-led hike on a 1/4 mile shallow section of Pickett's Mill Creek. We will hike, do a macroinvertebrate round-up, and pick up trash along the way. Our goal will be to determine the health of the creek, discover a living ecosystem, and leave it cleaner for the future. Free admission for participants with preregistration.

Located Take I-20 exit #44. Turn onto Thornton Road. (Highway 278) Follow Highway 278 West for 10 miles. Make a right onto Highway 92. Travel North on Highway 92 for approximately 6 miles. Look for brown Pickett's Mill signs as you continue. Turn left onto Due West Road. Continue 2 miles. Turn right onto Mount Tabor Church Road. Travel half a mile and the site on the right.
