Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation State Historic Site will present a special Independence Day program titled Hofwyl-Broadfield and the Struggle for Independence.
This engaging interpretive program will explore the connections between the families of Hofwyl-Broadfield and the broader story of America’s founding. Through a series of compelling narratives, visitors will encounter individuals whose lives intersected with the fight for independence—ranging from a signer of the Declaration of Independence to a Revolutionary War general.
