"Who Was the First?" Day Hike

Both the Spanish & British claimed rights to Georgia, but who was the first? This New Year's Day history hike will take visitors on two different journeys. Beginning in 1721, a British Redcoat soldier tours Fort King George. Then, travel back in time to 1560 with a Spanish Tercio musketeer on the edge of the Altamaha River.
