In this program learn all about the boll weevil and its affects on Georgia's economy and the efforts that eventually eradicated the bug. Through a Mohs Hardness Scale lab and short nature walk to a rocky outcropping, participants will learn the differences between rocks and minerals, the rock cycle, and plants and animals unique to rock outcrops.
