Day 1 McDuffie Education Center will provide children with a fishing experience. All fishing gear will be provided. After lunch Junior Rangers will participate in Archery, Learn about the Peregrine Falcone and play water games.
Day 2 Junior Rangers will be hiking, camp cooking, Learn about Reptiles and Mammals and partake in some kayak fun. $100 plus $5 parking. 706-541-0321.

Join a ranger to learn how the plants around us have been used historically, both for food and for survival crafts. You'll learn the basics of plant identification, plant safety, and plant uses on a paddle around Lake Rutledge. Meet the Naturalist at the Park office; for a crash course in Kayaking. We'll be going over basic strokes, maneuvers, as well as Paddling Safety.
