It’s time to learn all about trees. Join Rangers on a nature hike to learn all about the different species of trees that call our site home. The hike will be on the New Town Creek trail, and it ranges in difficulty from easy to moderate. Admission fee required. Call for further information. $6-$8. 706-624-1321.

Bring your Girl Scouts out for a day of learning and adventure. Join the rangers for guided tours at 10am and 1pm. The print shop will be open giving demonstrations throughout the day and visitors can make a souvenir page of paper, 1830's style. Self-guided tour option available throughout the day also.

Calling all volunteers! Our Rangers need your help on several work projects, from cleaning the historic buildings to landscaping and gardening. Any groups such as boy scouts or girl scouts need to call and register. Admission fees will be waved for any volunteers.
