Candle Making

Join the park Naturalist and learn candle making techniques. Each participant will make candles like the pioneers of the past and then create a candle that's more colorful like candles of today. $5 plus $5 parking. 706-541-0321.
Cliatt-Creek Hike

Mistletoe State Park - Appling, GA
Join one of our naturalists for a hike on our most popular trail! This trail offers scenic views such as Cliatt Creek and a mini canyon. The trails difficulty is moderate and it is 1 mile total. We will meet at the Nature Center and then head out on the trail to focus on the plants and wildlife seen at Mistletoe. $5 plus $5 parking. 706-541-0321.

Night Hike

Ever wondered what walking in the woods sounds like at night or what animals are night visitors? Learn this and more as we adventure into the woods after the sun goes down. Archery

Home School Event- Lake Ecology

Do you know what fish or microscopic animals live in the lake? Come discover the answer on this homeschool adventure. We will pull a seine through the water and get an up close look at fish that make Clarks Hill Lake home. We will also collect water samples and look through microscopes to see what microscopic animals live in the lake.. $6 plus $5 parking. 706-962-1272.
