Junior Rangers learning experiences will include orienteering skills, a winter hike, fire building and campfire cooking. They will learn how to find points in the woods by compass, during the hike they will learn how animals survive in the winter. We will complete the day learning how to start a fire without a match and then campfire cooking. $15 plus parking fee required. 706-541-0321.

Celebrate Valentines together outdoors in a Couples Outdoor Challenge. Couples will work together to score points in challenges. The challenges include a scavenger hunt, archery and fire making. The couple with the highest score wins a a free kayak rental. The program will be completed around the campfire making a sweet Valentine treat. $35 plus parking fee required. 706-541-0321.

Kids will learn how to attract birds to their own backyards in time for the Great Backyard Bird Count in February. They will build a bird houses to carry home, learn habitats and adaptations of various birds and use binoculars to see birds and identify them. Space is limited.
