Junior Rangers learning experiences will include orienteering skills, a winter hike, fire building and campfire cooking. They will learn how to find points in the woods by compass, during the hike they will learn how animals survive in the winter. We will complete the day learning how to start a fire without a match and then campfire cooking. $15 plus parking fee required. 706-541-0321.

Join us in a guided "Fitness Animal Hike". Students will learn about various animals that live at Mistletoe State Park. They will mimic animals movements building strength, coordination, and balance. We are turning a nature hike into a fun engaging physical activity using animal movements to develop gross motor skills and keep children active. $6 plus parking fee required. 706-541-0321.

Come join us as we view the night skies. After sunset a parade of planets will occur. With clear skies we should see Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Venus, and Saturn aligned in the sky. We will be using the app Sky View Lite and a telescope will be set up to get a closer look. Hot chocolate will be available for visitors.. $5 per person
