Enjoy a ranger-led paddle on Lake Rutledge as the waxing gibbous moon reflects off the water. No pets; kids must be 8 or older and with an adult. Bring a flashlight, water, and a change of clothes (optional). Social distancing required. Sunset and Swamp Sounds Paddle

Join a Ranger for a guided paddle on the Okefenokee at sunset. Watch as the sky bursts into colors such as orange and pink. Listen to the nocturnal wildlife as they begin to awake for the evening. We will meet in front of the trading post. $35 plus $5 parking. 912-637-5274.

A ranger will interpret the role the CCC made in creating this great park in the 1930s. Dreamy Sunset Paddle

Red Top Mountain State Park - Acworth, GA
Come join our rangers on a leisurely paddle on the stunning Lake Allatoona. We will depart from the Visitor Center and paddle along the shore. Please remember to bring sunscreen and plenty of water. If you’re new to kayaking this is the place to start. We’ll be covering the basics and building up our confidence as kayakers. Pro tips: bring water, a hat, sunglasses.
