Easter Egg Hunt on the Lake

Hard Labor Creek State Park - Rutledge, GA
On April 9th, Lake Rutledge will have 6 jumbo eggs hidden along the banks. From 11am - 2pm look for the eggs. When you find them, take a picture of each egg from your boat and bring your phone/camera with the pics to the beach area. The Easter Bunny will be at the beach from 12 pm - 3 pm to look at the photos and award you an eggciting surprise! $5 parking. 706-557-3001.

Enjoy a weekend away with your family participating in activities such as Wilderness Survival, Fire building, Kayaking, and Hiking. Families can attend field trips to other state parks and to the well known Foxfire Museum. Finish the weekend out, with a scavenger hunt competing against other families. All ages welcome. Registration is Required. $45 per adult; $25 per child ages 3-17; under 3 free $5 parking. 706-746-2441.
