Enjoy a ranger-led kayak paddle on the lake at Laura S. Walker. We will look for some of the plants and animals that call our blackwater lake home! Pre-register at the Visitor Center the day before the event to secure your spot. Space is limited. We will meet by the kayaks for the paddle. Sit back and relax while one of our rangers takes you on Billy's Lake for a beautiful Okefenokee sunset. Enjoy the wildlife and changing colors of the sky as the sun drops beneath the horizon. Listen for the sounds of frogs and barred owls echoing across the swamp and keep an eye out for alligators along the waters edge. $35 plus $5 parking. 912-637-5274.
