Park rangers will be on the lookout for the most creative displays and will host a costume contest with prizes! Want to hand out candy? Stop by the Visitor Center to pick up a “Pumpkin Paper” for your campsite so families know you’re a treat stop. 912-727-2339.

Wanting to show off your love for the Halloween season? Join our campsite decoration contest! Register in the visitor center upon your check-in, judging will happen Saturday at 8:00 pm, and prizes will be awarded Sunday morning for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Campers are invited to adorn their campsites with family-friendly, earth-friendly decor. Judging begins at 5 pm and ends by 7 pm. Winners will receive a prize. Visitors not registered as campers are welcome to tour the campgrounds during this time.
